  • Weekly reminders for week beginning 19th December 2022

    Sun 18 Dec 2022
Oh my goodness, where do we start after last week.

Thank you for you support and determination to beat the snow as well as you positive response to the disaster that was the end of the week. What an interesting and challenging week we all had but what a community we are - thank you to each and everyone of you! Currently we have no further news following what was communicated on Friday. I do have a meeting early on Monday so will update you after this.

Thank you to all those who supported the OCA raffle and congratulations to the winners. A huge thank you to Keystones for their on-going support for OCA that in turn supports the wider school.

    Monday
So as you all know (I hope) school is closed on Monday. For those who wish to complete it, work will be set on Class Dojo.

Sadly the OCA Disco will be postponed and will take place in January instead.

    Tuesday
What happens on Monday will inform what Tuesday looks like.

If we are open it will be a day of Christmas Parties, a visit from Father Christmas himself and it will be a non-uniform day.

If school is not open, we will let you know what will happen but please know your children will get to celebrate Christmas with us even if it is online. I am reliably informed Father Christmas has access to Zoom! Staff will be in school briefly on Tuesday morning if we are not open.

    Sun 11 Dec 2022
Well, it is almost impossible to believe that we are in the final full week of this term. What a term is has been! I am sure you will agree that it has been a successful time at Clockhouse for so many different reasons.  I cannot thank each and everyone of you enough for the part you have played in this and for your on-going support and kindness.

Last week in school we continued to try to give the children a fantastic Christmas experience. We hope you enjoyed the stories we shared, there are more to come this week. We hope the children enjoyed Christmas Dinner on Friday and the Zoom Clockhouse Christmas Quiz. I have to say the children (and staff) all looked amazing in their Christmas jumpers! If you attended concerts last week, we hope you enjoyed them as much as we did and thank you being so good at adhering to the rules - it really is appreciated.
