  Well, it is almost impossible to believe that we are in the final week of the Spring term. What another strange but successful term is has been! Without your support, determination, trust and understanding we would not have been able to do what we have done and achieve all that we have. Thank you from us all. I am sure you are ready for the holiday and a good break come Thursday.

   

  Year 2

  The Year 2 children are off to the Church on Tuesday. Please ensure that consent forms are returned by Monday at the latest.

   

  Greenland

  The Greenland children are off to the Church on Thursday. Please ensure that consent forms are returned by Wednesday at the latest.

   

  OCA Reach the Egg

  Please remember that on Thursday Our Clockhouse Association will be holding a brand new event - Reach the Egg! For this, the children can bring in whatever change they would like, from 1p’s all the way up to £2 coins. There will be an Easter Egg placed at a set distance away from the children and all the children need to do is line up their coins edge to edge in a line. The closest line to the egg wins! The prize is the Easter Egg. Coins should brought in in a clearly marked plastic bag. OCA provide a great support to the school so please do help them help us, help your children by getting involved. Thank you in advance and good luck everyone!

  Good luck to the Year 3 and 4 and the Year 2 Sportshall Athletics Team who take part in the Borough competition on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

  All that leaves me to do is wish you a very happy Easter and Easter holiday from us all when it arrives. The children finish school on Thursday (Friday is a staff training day) and we look forward to seeing you after the break on Tuesday 19th April. Enjoy lots of chocolate!

  Well done to all those who took part in Comic Relief and helped us raise money for this worthwhile charity. I will of course communicate the final amount with you in due course. Everyone certainly looked fabulous in red and there were a few heroes amongst us!

  Year 6

  Year 6 are looking forward to welcoming the staff from Gunpowder Mill to school on Tuesday for their Lest we Forget workshop. Please ensure permission and contributions are in school on Monday if you have not done so already. Thank you to all those who have sent this into school already.

  Our Clockhouse Association (OCA) - Mother's Day Sale

  Following previous successes, OCA will be holding another Mother's Day sale on Friday during school time. All gifts will be £1.50. If you wish for your child to purchase a small gift please send them to school with a maximum of £3.00 so that they can purchase a gift.

  Another good week was had last week and although a quieter week ahead at Clockhouse, we still have lots of exciting things planned for the children.

   

  A huge thank you for the amazing response to our collection for the Ukraine, it was beyond amazing!

   

  Parents' Evening

  This week Italy and Mexico have their Parents' Evening. If you have not made an appointment already, please speak to Miss Page and Mrs Curry.

   

  Group Photos

  Please be aware that class group photos will be being taken on Wednesday - uniform and best smiles at the ready! If your class has PE on Wednesday, Class Teachers will let you know the change of day for PE for this week via Class Dojo.

   

  Peru

  Well done to Peru who won Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality Week. They are off bowling on Wednesday morning. Please ensure consent forms are returned on Monday if you have not done so already.

   

  Comic Relief

  On Friday we will be supporting Comic Relief, please remember that for a small donation we ask that the children come to school dressed in something red or with red on.

  Well done and thank you for your support last week! It was a busy week. We hope the children enjoyed their special bagel treat, World Book Day and everything else they experienced last week - we certainly did! 

   

  Well done and thank you for taking Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality Week seriously and huge congratulations to everyone and especially our winners!

   

  Ukraine Appeal

  A huge thank you to the community for everything that has already been donated. There is still time to donate should you wish. Please bring donations into the office. The last day for this is Tuesday. Thank you in advance.

  
  Year 5
  The final meeting for the Condover Hall residential visit is taking place on Thursday at 5pm. This will be in the Key Stage 1 hall.
   

  Is your child, or a child you know due to start Nursery in September 2022

  We are looking forward to welcoming prospective parents / carers into school on Tuesday 8th January  at 10.00am or 4pm. Please call the school to book this or a tour later in the term. Places on each tour are limited and are filling up quickly.
