Sport at Clockhouse

Sport at Clockhouse Primary School

Miss Wilson is responsible for our PE at Clockhouse Primary School, she is ably supported by our Sports Coach Miss Mcdonald. Throughout the year we aim to cover all aspects of PE including gym, dance, net/wall games, striking/fielding games, invasion games, and athletics whilst learning and having as much fun as possible.

Miss Mcdonald joined us after working in other local schools guiding them to borough success. She has an enthusiasm for coaching and teaching a range of sports activities within various age groups.

Clockhouse Primary School will give all children from Nursery through to Year 6 the opportunity to learn about sports and a healthy lifestyle whilst developing both sports specific skills and core motor skills. Miss Mcdonald will teach sports including hockey, dance, gym, athletics, cricket, dodge ball, rounder’s, tag rugby, football, basketball netball, cheer leading, skipping, tennis, boccia, speed stacking, and much more.

Please ensure children come dressed appropriately for PE. All PE kits can be purchased from the online uniform shop. For indoor PE children should wear white Clockhouse PE shirt, blue shorts and plimsolls. For outdoor PE children should wear white Clockhouse PE shirt, blue shorts or blue tracksuit, trainers or plimsolls and if needed a Clockhouse cap. Also available from the school office are water bottles and swimming caps.
