Welcome back everyone, we hope you all had a lovely week. We are looking forward to hearing about your holiday tomorrow and seeing everyone back and ready and raring to go!
We have a busy term ahead so we hope everyone is ready to learn tomorrow.
Please remember that school starts at 8.55am and learning really does start straight away. Teachers are available from 8.50am. We really need to improve our attendance this term so please help us out by ensuring that children are in school everyday and on time unless it really is unavoidable!
We are... Week
We have a busy but exciting week with all the children with our inaugural We are... Week.
Throughout the week the children will be doing lots of different to inspire them about their futures as well as supporting our local and wider community.
Please ensure that if you have not returned the permission slip for this week (Year 1, 2 and 4) it is returned by Monday along with any voluntary contributions you have been asked for.
Year 3
Year 3 are off to the Natural History Museum on Tuesday. Please ensure consent forms etc. are returned on Monday if you have not done so already.
Year 5
The Year 5 children will be launching their new theme about Victorians with a Victorian Day on Thursday - we look forward to seeing some fabulous costumes. Please ensure contributions are sent in if you have not done so already.
Parents Evening (Nursery - Year 6)
Please do not forget that it is Parents Evening on Wednesday and Thursday, please see your child's class teacher on Monday if you need to book an appointment.
No Cost Uniform Shop
Our No Cost Uniform Shop will be back open on Thursday after school in the Key Stage 1 ICT Suite. Please do come along as there is lots of uniform etc. to give away.
Clockhouse visit to KPMG
Mr Bottrill, Mr Ilya, Mrs O'Connor and our Digital Leaders are off to visit the KPMG on Friday - a very exciting opportunity.
Sport
Good luck to the Girls Football Team who play Parsonage Farm Primary (away) on Wednesday and to the Netball Team who play Hylands Primary (away) on Friday.

Year 3
Year 3 are looking forward to welcoming their families into school on Thursday afternoon for their food sale.
Year 5
20 of our Year 5 children are off to see Matilda on Wednesday. They will be seeing a performance of the show as well as taking part in a workshop.
School Nurse Drop In
Should you wish to speak to the School Nurse she will be available for you to 'drop in' on Tuesday 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please come to the Key Stage 2 Office.
Sport

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 25th February. The first week back is our inaugral We Are ... Week, the letter for which will be coming out this week, so please do ensure consent forms are returned this week and before Friday.
As the last two weeks of the half term approach we have another busy week at Clockhouse!
Nursery and Reception
Both Nursery and Reception look forward to welcoming parents and carers this week to review the children's learning as well as carry out activities to do with Chinese New Year. Please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure of your time slot.
Year 1 and 2
The children will be taking part in a Road Safety Workshop on Tuesday. Please do take some time to talk to the children about this important safety aspect.
Year 2
We look forward to welcoming our Year 2 parents for Learn with my Child on Thursday morning at 9.10am - 11.45. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.
Year 5
Year 5 are off to Bower Park on Wednesday afternoon to watch their very impressive High Flyers show. We will also be taking part on Thursday evening.
Key Stage 2 Choir
We are very pleased that the Key Stage 2 Choir are once again off to sing at the O2. On Monday they will join with thousands of other children from London to take part in the Young Voices concert. A very exciting opportunity.
Special Dinner Day
We have another special dinner day on Tuesday to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Safer Internet Day
Tuesday is national Safer Internet Day and the children will be learning about this in school. Please do take the time to talk to them about this very important subject.
Forest Schools
Some of you will have received a letter last week inviting your child to take part in this round of Forest Schools. Please do send the slip back ASAP and we look forward to seeing you at the meeting after school on Tuesday.
