As the end of the term approaches, we have another busy week at Clockhouse - just how we like it!
Celebration Assemblies
Celebration Assemblies start this week, please check back through School Story on Dojo or speak to class teachers if you are unsure of the date for your child's class.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that the children have done so far this year. The assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by. This week Celebration Assemblies are as follows:
Monday 23rd May - China (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
Wednesday 25th May - India (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
Wednesday 25th May - Canada (2.45pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
Thursday 26th May - USA (2.45pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
We look forward to welcoming you to school to celebrate with your children.
Year 6
We all hope that Year 6 have a fabulous time in Bournemouth. Please remember to meet your group leader in the canteen on Monday morning. The children will be departing at 8am promptly if you wish to wave them off. Updates about the trip will be on the school blog, dojo and website.
We also hope that those staying behind have a great Activity Week! If you have not done so already, please ensure money and consent forms are returned on Monday morning. The children will be going out and without written consent they will not be able to do so.
Year 4
Year 4 have a special visit from the bee keepers on Tuesday. This is a very exciting opportunity for Clockhouse and something we are all looking forward to hearing about.
Greenland
Greenland are very much looking forward to welcoming their parents into school on Thursday to share all their learning about the Greeks.
Queen's Jubilee Week
We will be busy this week celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. There will be lots of activities throughout the week which will end with our very own street party. A letter came out about this last week and we look forward to seeing a sea of red, white and blue on Friday when the children can come to school dressed in these colours.
The canteen will be putting on a special Jubilee dinner on Thursday.
School Nurse Drop In
Should you wish to speak to the School Nurse she will be available for you to 'drop in' on Tuesday 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please call the Key Stage 2 Office to book a slot or just drop in.
Sport
Good luck to the girl's cricket team who have a competition on Wednesday.

It is another busy week at Clockhouse which is just the way we like it!
Year 2
A huge good luck from us all to all the Year 2 children who take their SATs tests this week. They could not have worked harder and we know they will try their very best. Get lots of rest and please ensure that all the children are in school promptly so that they can be settled before starting.
Special Dinner for all
On Thursday we have another special dinner day. It would be really good to get as many people as possible having dinner on Thursday as this determines some of our schools funding. We really do appreciate your help in this matter.
Year 3
On Friday, Year 3 have their marvellous middle where they will be learning about many Greek Traditions with their Greek Day, linked to their learning theme. We cannot wait to see their costumes.
Year 4
The Year 4 children are off to the Church on Friday. Please ensure that consent forms are returned by Wednesday at the latest.
Sport
Good luck to the boys cricket team who have a competition on Wednesday.

After a quieter week last week, we have a busy week ahead.
Year 6
A huge good luck from us all to all the Year 6 children who will be sitting their SATs tests this week. They could not have worked harder and we know they will try their very best. Get lots of rest and please ensure that all the children are in school promptly so that they can be settled before starting. Remember your Breakfast of Champions will be served at 8.15am Monday - Thursday, don't miss out!
Mexico
Mexico do not forget that you have a non-uniform day on Monday as your reward for getting 100% attendance for the week. Well done to you all!
Mental Health Awareness Week
As you may know this week is Mental Health Awareness Week. With a considerable rise in the number of children and young people affected by mental health, this is an aspect of work close to the school’s heart. The Mental Health Support Team will be in school on Tuesday talking to the children during breaktime about friendships.
Year 4 Trip
As part of their Geography Fieldwork, Year 4 are off to the Havering Country Park on Friday. Please ensure permission slips are returned by Wednesday at the latest if you have not done so already.
Bagle Breakfast
On Friday, Bagels will once again be in the playground before school as a little treat for the whole community. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Sport
Good luck to the Year 3 and 4 Tennis Team who take part in a Borough competition on Wendesday.
