Well, it is almost impossible to believe that we are in the final week of this term. What a term is has been! I am sure you will agree that in many ways it has been a successful time at Clockhouse for so many different reasons whilst also being one of the most anxious and difficult terms we have ever experienced. Together we will get there and I cannot thank each and everyone of you enough for your on-going support, kindness and compassion.
Last week in school we continued to try to give the children a fantastic Christmas experience. The story of Winston continues this week. I wonder who will be reading to you from Father Christmas' house! We hope the children enjoyed Christmas Dinner on Friday and the Zoom Clockhouse Christmas Quiz. I have to say the children (and staff) all looked amazing in thier Christmas jumpers!
We look forward to welcoming USA back on Monday and Nursery on Tuesday - we have missed you!
Year 2
On Thursday, Year 2 have their Polar Express Day. Information about this has already been sent via Dojo.
Year 4 and Year 5
As we cannot actually take the children, throughout next week, Year 4 and 5 will be taking part in a virtual tour of the British Museum to enrich their learning.
OCA Raffle
We are very excited that both the children's and adult's raffles organised by OCA will be drawn on Tuesday after school! Keep an eye on the school Facebook page for the announcement.
Parties
Friday is non-uniform day and Christmas Parties, a letter about this came out last week.

Please look out for the December Newsletter which will be coming out this week.
All that leaves me to do is wish you a very Happy Christmas from us all. We finish school on Friday and we look forward to seeing you all back after the festive fun on Tuesday 5th January.
I think last week can certainly be described as a little strange if nothing else. With a number of classes in isolation the school just did not feel right. But we made the best of it and are that little bit closer to those at home coming back. I have to say a huge well done to the children, staff and families who between them have made the most of the time at home and kept learning. We have missed you all and look forward to seeing Wales (Tuesday), Scotland and Mexico (Wednesday) and Canada (Friday) back this week. Keep going all!
In school we continued to try to give the children a fantastic Christmas experience and we hope the children enjoyed Winston's Winter Wonderland Week. The story of Winston continues this week. I wonder who will be reading to you from Father Christmas' house!
Christmas Friday Friday is Christmas Jumper Day. The children do not need to come to school in uniform, Christmas Jumpers and appropriate bottoms. This is also Christmas Dinner Day and the great Clockhouse Zoom Christmas Quiz!
Year 4
As we cannot actually take the children, on Friday Year 4 (South Africa) will be taking part in a virtual tour of the British Museum to enrich their learing about the Egyptians. Kenya and Uganda will have the same experience the following week.
