Key Stage 2 Concerts
This week sees the Year 3 and 4 concert and the Year 5 and 6 Carol Concert. The dates are as follows:
16th December Year 3 and 4 Concert - 9.30am ( Peru / Brazil / Uganda)
16th December Year 3 and 4 Concert - 2.30pm (Argentina / South Africa / Kenya)
19th December Year 5 and 6 Carol Service - 2.00pm / 7.00pm
Please remember that younger siblings are not permitted to attend concerts.
Year 1
Year 1 end their Toys theme with a Cowboy and Alien Day on Monday. We are looking forward to seeing lots of great costumes.
Christmas Dinner
Please remember that it is Christmas Dinner day on Wednesday. If you do need to pay for the dinner please make sure that sQuid accounts have the necessary funding.
Greenland
We are looking forward to welcoming the parents / carers of the children in Greenland to school on Thursday morning.
No Cost Uniform Shop
Our No Cost Uniform Shop will be back open on Thursday after school in the Key Stage 1 ICT Suite. Please do come along as there is lots of uniform etc. to give away.

Friday is non-uniform day and Christmas Parties. You should have received a letter about these last week.

Year 1
Year 1 are off to the church on Wednesday. Please ensure that consent forms are returned by Monday at the latest if you have not done so already.

Friday is Christmas Jumper Day. The children do not need to come to school in uniform, Christmas Jumpers and with appropriate bottoms.

As Christmas gets ever closer, we are all really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the many Christmas events we have planned during the next few weeks.
Rock Around the World Week
This week sees our inaugral Rock Around the World Week when the children will be learning about cutures across the world. They will be looking particularly French speaking countries as part of a whole relaunch of our French curriculum. The children will be collaboarting across year groups and we look forward to sharing their learning with you on Friday from 2.50pm in the Key Stage 2 Hall.
Nursery and Reception
We look forward to welcoming families of Nursery and Reception children to school this week for Christmas Hat Making. Please speak to the Nursery and Reception staff if you are unsure of which day to come in.
Annual Santa Run
Please do not forget that Monday (after school) will see our annual Santa Run. For all those taking part or coming to support please meet outside the Key Stage 2 hall straight after school.
School Nurse Drop In
Should you wish to speak to the School Nurse she will be available for you to 'drop in' on Tuesday 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please come to the Key Stage 2 Office.
Cake Sale
Friday sees the Christmas Fundraising Day and the annual Cake Sale. Please send any cakes into school either on or before Friday as well as giving the children a small amount to buy some cakes!
Sport
Good luck to the Netball team who play Parklands at home, on Thursday after school.
