#ourclockhousefamily Welcome to our school!

Weekly reminders for week beginning 23rd May 2022

A huge well done to Year 2 for working extra hard last week with their tests. We were all extremely proud of you.

As the end of the term approaches, we have another busy week at Clockhouse - just how we like it!

Celebration Assemblies
Celebration Assemblies start this week, please check back through School Story on Dojo or speak to class teachers if you are unsure of the date for your child's class.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that the children have done so far this year. The assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by. This week Celebration Assemblies are as follows:
Monday 23rd May - China (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
Wednesday 25th May - India (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
Wednesday 25th May - Canada (2.45pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
Thursday 26th May - USA (2.45pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
We look forward to welcoming you to school to celebrate with your children.

Year 6
We all hope that Year 6 have a fabulous time in Bournemouth. Please remember to meet your group leader in the canteen on Monday morning. The children will be departing at 8am promptly if you wish to wave them off. Updates about the trip will be on the school blog, dojo and website.

We also hope that those staying behind have a great Activity Week! If you have not done so already, please ensure money and consent forms are returned on Monday morning. The children will be going out and without written consent they will not be able to do so.

Year 4
Year 4 have a special visit from the bee keepers on Tuesday. This is a very exciting opportunity for Clockhouse and something we are all looking forward to hearing about.

Greenland
Greenland are very much looking forward to welcoming their parents into school on Thursday to share all their learning about the Greeks.

Queen's Jubilee Week
We will be busy this week celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. There will be lots of activities throughout the week which will end with our very own street party. A letter came out about this last week and we look forward to seeing a sea of red, white and blue on Friday when the children can come to school dressed in these colours.

The canteen will be putting on a special Jubilee dinner on Thursday.

School Nurse Drop In
Should you wish to speak to the School Nurse she will be available for you to 'drop in' on Tuesday  2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please call the Key Stage 2 Office to book a slot or just drop in.

Sport
Good luck to the girl's cricket team who have a competition on Wednesday.
