Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium Spend at Clockhouse Primary School

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

The Department for Education states:

“The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.”

The funding is based on the “Ever 6” system which means that as well as pupils who are currently on free school meals, schools receive funding for any young person who has been in receipt of free school meals in the last six years.

The total funding provided in the Pupil Premium allocation to Clockhouse Primary School for the financial year 2018-2019 is £269540.00.

This below and accompanying documents will set out the way this money will be spent improving the educational outcomes of the students at Clockhouse Primary School.

Clockhouse Primary School’s vision for the Pupil Premium

The sum of money allocated to Clockhouse is used to impact positively on the performance and outcomes of the children who are targeted by the funding.

We have researched the best practice on the use of Pupil Premium funding as set out by the Sutton Trust Pupil Premium Toolkit:
