We had a very busy week last week, with lots of different opportunities for the children.
We have another busy week ahead.
National Storytelling Week
As you already know this week is National Story Telling Week and at Clockhouse we are taking part in this with lots of exciting things for the children to enjoy. On Monday and Tuesday we have our very own Storyteller coming in to work with the children from Reception to Year 6. Please do make sure you have sent your £1 in for this experience. We know that it is all too easy to forget but the £1 or lack of them soon mount up. Your contributions are gratefully received.
Nursery and Reception
Both Nursery and Reception welcome the travelling zoo on Wednesday with lots of interesting animals coming to Clockhouse. Please speak to a member of school staff should you have any questions if you have not done so already.
Year 3
Year 3 are off to Collier Row on Wednesday, please ensure that permissions slips are returned by Monday if you have not done so already.
Key Stage 2 Choir
We are very pleased that the Key Stage 2 Choir are once again off to sing at the O2. On Thursday they will join with thousands of other children from London to take part in the Young Voices concert. A very exciting opportunity.
Year 6
On Friday Year 6 welcome a travelling workshop - The Riot Act. They have been to school previously and the children certainly got a lot out of it.
Sport
Good luck to the netball team who play St. Peters (Brentwood) away on Monday evening. Good luck also to the girls football team who play Harrow Lodge on Tuesday at home and take part on a competition on Thursday. A final good luck to the netball team who take part in the Surrey Storm netball tournament on Friday.
