A huge well done to Year 6 for working extra hard last week with their tests. We were all extremely proud of you.
It is another busy week at Clockhouse which is just the way we like it!
A huge good luck from us all to all the Year 2 children who take their SATs tests this week. They could not have worked harder and we know they will try their very best. Get lots of rest and please ensure that all the children are in school promptly so that they can be settled before starting.
Uganda and Canada
Uganda and Canada continue this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by.
Uganda - 9.05am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
Canada - 2.50pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)
This week sees our annual Science Week at Clockhouse. The children will all be enjoying lots of Science related work this week all to do with the phenomena that is flight. They will be celebrating their achievements with one another on Friday afternoon with our very own Science Fair. Parents are invited into school after school on Friday to see their work. This will be in the Key Stage 1 and 2 halls. The children will also be experiencing a Birds of Prey show on Tuesday.
Parents / Carers of those children going to Bournemouth, please do not forget to send the paperwork back to school ASAP if you have not done so already. Do not forget also that if you need to give staff medication for the trip, they will be available after school on Thursday after school in New Zealand (Miss Kearns' Classroom).
The photographers will be in school on Monday to take our annual group photos - best smiles at the ready!
The choir are off to Mawney School on Tuesday afternoon, please ensure consent forms are returned by Monday if you have not done so already.
On Friday the children are invited to come into school to support the Mayor and the charities that they are raising money for. These are Havering Mind, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity and Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. For a small donation the children can come to school in thier own clothes.
Good luck to the boys cricket team who have a competition on Wednesday.
