Welcome back to the Year 6 children who went to Bournemouth. Hopefully you have had lots of sleep and ready for the week ahead!
Thank you to the parents and families who joined us on the Monday last week for the celebration assemblies of South Africa and USA we are sure you will agree they were a lovely occasion and we look forward to seeing more of you at these events during the term.
Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality
This week is our termly focus Attendance and Punctuality Week. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is in school everyday and on time! We really do need to work together to improve the children's attendance across the school. Together we CAN DO IT!
Enterprise Event
This week we once again embark on what has now become one of our Clockhouse Traditions, it is ENTERPRISE WEEK! The children will be busy creating there enterprise ideas and all those budding entrepreneurs out there will be marketing their products during the week. Enterprise Day will be Thursday 13th June. Please do not forget to send the children in with a little bit of money to make their purchases.
China and Italy
China and Italy continue this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by.
China - 9.05am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
Italy - 2.50pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)
Year 3
Year 3 welcome people from the Tate Modern on Monday morning. This will be to take part in a London wide project in association with Steve McQueen, a very exicitng opportunity for the children.
Year 6
Year 6 will be visited by Miles the Mole on Monday afternoon. This is a workshop all about air pollution and how as a society we can do things to reduce this and improve the quality of the air they breath. Last year this was very interesting and worth while.
School Nurse Drop In
Should you wish to speak to the School Nurse she will be available for you to 'drop in' on Tuesday 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please come to the Key Stage 2 Office.
Father's Day Sale
Following the success of the Mother's Day sale earlier in the year, the PA will be holding our first Father's Day sale on Friday during school time. If you wish for your child to purchase a small gift, there will be two set prices either £1.50 or £3.00, please send this into school on Friday.
Sport
Good luck to the Girls Cricket Team who has a competition on Wednesday.
