    Welcome to Greenland

Greenland is an exciting place to be, it is part of the continent of North America! Like every Year Group at Clockhouse, we have a fun-filled, creative curriculum to excite and inspire the children of the year group. The adults work hard to ensure that we make the learning in Greenland exciting and memorable. The adults we get to work with are Miss Simmonds, Miss Howlett, Mrs Hodge, Miss King, Mrs Goff, Miss Benson, Miss O’Connor, Miss Ricketts, Miss Rudd, Miss Reed, Mrs Michael, Miss O’Driscoll and Miss Ward. We also have a number of other adults who help us learn, make progress and be the best that we can be.

In Greenland, we have three pathways which the children follow depending on their communication needs. These are Explorers, Adventurers and Navigators. The curriculum and approaches are bespoke to meet the needs of the children who access Greenland. This changes with their needs of the children in order to ensure that everyone progresses from their individual starting points. Communication is at the heart of the Greenland curriculum. Our provision is thoughtfully designed to support the development of communication skills, using each child’s preferred method. Through a wide range of opportunities, including play-based learning, we help children build confidence in both expressing themselves and interacting with others.

During the year we will have lots of other exciting events… keep checking the website and letter
