We hope the children enjoyed Best of British week and the children were excited to come home and talk to you about this, thank you for embracing the dress up day, the children looked fabulous.
Our annual Remembrance Service, although different to normal years, provided us with a great opportuniity to remember, thank you to all of those who joined us live on Facebook and for your positive feedback. Watch out for the video showing you what we got up to during this week coming your way soon. As always, the children were outstanding during our Remembrance Day Service and showed the upmost respect, whether they were laying poppies or were in classrooms. It was wonderful to see the whole school community come together virtually for this. Thank you for the lovely comments regarding the poppy displays.
Thank you also for your overwhelmingly positive feedback your gave to use in the questionnaire we sent out. We are busy looking at this and will communicate our overall findings with you in the near furture.
Odd Sock Day
As you already know this week is national Anti-Bullying Week. In order to recognise this and celebrate difference, on Monday, we are inviting the children (and staff) to come into school in odd socks. Throughout the week the staff will be talking to the children abouy anti-bullying. Please do also talk to them about this at home.

Year 4 have a Rabbi visiting them on Tuesday to enrich their learning all about Judaism.
Reception - Year 6
Please remember that the flu immunisations will be taking place on Wednesday.
School Photographs
Following the letter that came out last week, please remember that individual school photographs will be taken on Thursday 18th November. This will all be done in a Covid safe way. We are sure you can understand that this year siblings will cannot be photographed together in school and apologise in advance for this. As per the letter, if you do want this done please come before school.
Children In Need
On Friday, we are once again supporting the very worthy cause of Children in Need whose theme this year is 'Together we can'. Together we will come together by wearing spots. In doing so we will be having a non-uniform day where we will be showing our support by coming dressed in something spotty (a small donation in the bucket is all that is needed)! Should your child have PE on this day, they can still wear something spotty for the day but will still be doing PE. Please keep this in mind when deciding what your child will wear. All donations received for this will be sent to Children in Need. Please help us support this worthy cause!
No Cost Uniform Shop
Please do not forget! Should you have any unwanted uniform that you are willing to donate to our No Cost Uniform Shop, this would be gratefully accepted. Please place this in the blue bin by the Key Stage 1 Office. If you need uniform from the Shop, please complete your order using the link below:
