Weekly reminders for the week beginning 9th November 2026

It was lovely to welcome the children back to school last week and to hear about their holiday. As is always the case, we have a busy week ahead.
Thank you also for your overwhelmingly positive feedback your gave to us in the questionnaire we sent out.

    Best of British Week
This week we will be celebrating Britain and the British Culture with our annual Best of British Week. This year we will be focussing on the five Fundamental British Values. I am sure the children will love to tell you all about what they have learnt, please do ask them.

    Remembrance Day
As part of Best of British Week, on Wednesday we will be holding our annual Remembrance Day Service. This has now become some what of a Clockhouse Tradition and an important date in our school calendar. Look out for the displays on the school fence as always. The children always work hard to complete these.

    School Photographs
Please remember that individual school photographs will be taken on Tuesday 10th November. If you do want siblings photographed please come before school, this can also include siblings who do not come to Clockhouse.

    Year 4
We look forward to welcoming our Year 4 (Wednesday - 9.10-10.30) parents for Learn with my Child. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.

    Greenland
We look forward to welcoming our Greenland parents / carers for Learn with my Child on Friday morning at 2.30pm. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.

Is your child, or a child you know due to start Nursery in September 2027
We are looking forward to welcoming prospective parents / carers into school on Thursday 10.00am. Please call the school to book this or a tour later in the term.
