    It was lovely to welcome everyone back to school on Monday, hear about their holidays and see them excited and eager to get back to school and learning.
     
    We have a busy week ahead!
     
    Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality
    This week is our termly focus Attendance and Punctuality Week. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is in school everyday and on time! We really do need to work together to improve the children's attendance across the school and need your help to do so. Together we CAN DO IT! Look out for the daily updates! Who will win the top prize?
     
    Celebration Assemblies
    Celebration Assemblies start this week, please check back through School Story on Dojo or speak to class teachers if you are unsure of the date for your child's class.

    Wednesday 10th June - Japan (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
    Thursday 11th June - Canada (2.50pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
    Friday 12th June - India (9.10am) Key Stage 2 Hall
    Friday 12th June - USA (2.50pm) Key Stage 1 Hall
    We look forward to welcoming you to school to celebrate with your children.
     
    Year 1
    Phonic Screening - Please be aware that Year 1 will be completing their phonic screening check this week.
     
    Year 2 
    Year 2 are off to Colchester Castle on Wednesday. If you have not yet sent in money and consent forms please ensure this is done by Tuesday morning.
     
    Year 4
    Times Table Check - Please be aware that Year 4 will Times Table Check continues this week.
     
    Year 6
    We all hope that Year 6 have a fabulous time in Brighton. Please remember to meet your group leader in the Key Stage 2 hall on Monday morning at 7.15am. The children will be departing at 8.00am promptly if you wish to wave them off. Updates about the trip will be on the school blog and dojo.

    We also hope that those staying behind have a great Activity Week! If you have not done so already, please ensure money and consent forms are returned on Monday morning. The children will be going out and without written consent they will not be able to do so.
     
    OCA
    Do not forget OCA will be hosting the Summer Fete of Saturday (11am - 3pm). We look forward to seeing you there.
     
    Choir
    On Thursday morning the Choir or off to the Hylands Primary School to practise for their up and coming Music Festival. 
     
    Sport
    Good luck to the Year 5 and 6 Athletics Team who are off to Quad Kids on Wednesday.
