Weekly reminders for the week beginning 15th September 2025
Published 12/09/25
Another good week was had at Clockhouse last week. Many year groups enjoyed their Stunning Starter last week and got themselves fully immersed into their new theme!
I have to say the children have been nothing short of amazing since returning to school and we continue to be thankful to work with such a supportive community. It was lovely to welcome our new Reception children and many of our new Nursery children to Clockhouse last week and like the rest of our new children, they have settled so well. We look forward to welcoming more Nursery children this week.
We have a VERY exciting week ahead!
Meet the Teacher
Thank you to all those who came to Meet the Teacher. We enjoyed meeting you and hope you found it useful. Meet the Teacher continues this week. Teachers will be in classrooms straight after school and available until 4pm. Please do come and say hello and see your child's classroom. This week is as follows:
Tuesday 16th September - Year 2
Thursday 18th September - Greenland (2.45pm)
Thursday 18th September - Reception
Swimming
Swimming starts on Monday for Year 4 and Greenland. Year 4 will be swimming everyday for the next two weeks so please ensure that they come prepared. Any questions please ask.
Art, Art and more Art
A Monday and Tuesday the children from Year 1 to 6 will be taking part in this years Wow Days. Some of the children will even get to work with an art company who will be joining us. Watch out to see what we get up to.
Please be aware that due to this, Achievement Assembly will start next week.
Jean's Day
Friday will once again be the day where we honour and remember Mrs O'Connor with Jean’s Day. Mrs O'Connor was our former Librarian and Midday Supervision, who suddenly passed away in August 2022. Her favourite colour was purple / lilac so we are asking our Clockhouse family to wear something of this colour in her honour along with non-uniform (PE will continue on this day).
Things to be aware of
We are having a big push on tucking shirts in and taking pride in our appearance. The children are getting very good at this and thank them and you for your support in this. This also includes ensuring the children come to school in the correct PE uniform on PE Days, please help us with this.
The following letters went out last week:
Nut Free School reminder
Music Subject Newsletter
Jean's' Day
Swimming (Year 4 and Greenland)
Residential Meeting (Year 5)
SATs and Residential Meeting (Year 6)
Height and Weight Check Information (Reception and Year 6)
Please look out for the first newsletter of the new school year which will be coming out before the end of the month.
As always we thank you for your continued support in all we do.
Have a good week everyone!
